CTR Group Expands Plastic Recovery Programme
as Demand for Circular Solutions Accelerates
Businesses are under increasing pressure to prove where waste goes, how it is processed and what environmental outcomes are being achieved. Our focus is on delivering complete visibility, compliance assurance and practical circular-economy solutions that create value rather than simply managing waste.
As retailers, distributors and manufacturers face mounting pressure to reduce waste, improve ESG performance and meet Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations, CTR Group is expanding its Plastic Recovery & Recycling operation, CTR Recover, to help businesses transform packaging waste into measurable environmental and commercial outcomes.
Our Recover division already processes hundreds of tonnes of plastic material every week, and has reported increasing demand from organisations seeking fully traceable, zero-to-landfill recycling solutions supported by real-time reporting and compliance documentation.

Expanding CTR Recover
CTR Recover's operation combines scheduled collections, advanced sorting technologies, material grading and certified downstream recycling partnerships. Customers receive live reporting on recovery volumes, recycling performance and carbon savings through our bespoke ESG reporting systems.
With the expansion of this important department and using CTR Groups logistical expertise we can mobilise new recovery programmes within 48 hours, providing collection infrastructure, logistics support and operational reporting from day one.
The expansion forms part of CTR Group’s wider circular-economy strategy, which includes reverse logistics, resale and redistribution, take-back programmes, secure destruction and specialist recovery services. Across the wider organisation, CTR handles more than 1,300 tonnes of material every week through reuse, recycling and recovery channels.
The organisations that embrace circular recovery models today will be the ones best positioned to meet tomorrow’s environmental and regulatory expectations.
Recent projects have included large-scale supermarket and retail recovery operations, helping businesses divert significant volumes of packaging materials away from landfill while supporting sustainability commitments and EPR compliance requirements.
As pressure grows on businesses to deliver measurable ESG outcomes, CTR believes the future of waste management lies in creating fully auditable recovery systems that protect both the environment and commercial performance.
For organisations seeking to reduce disposal costs, improve sustainability reporting and achieve verified zero-to-landfill outcomes, plastic recovery is increasingly becoming a strategic business function rather than simply a waste-management exercise.
Plastic should be viewed as a resource, not a liability.
