Why we’re
rethinking returns
In the booming era of online shopping, returns are big business. They’re also an expensive business. KPMG estimates that UK businesses spend approximately £7billion per year on their returns operation, with particular seasonal surges in demand in December, for example.
We create bespoke returns programmes for our partners. We handle the entire process (if that’s what you need), so no two schemes are the same. Every retailer, wholesaler and manufacturer is different, and so are their returns programmes. We’ll work with you to create the right solution for your business and your customers.

It doesn’t have to be all outlay for your business
We’re able to offer you a way to monetise your returns process, with the peace of mind that comes with knowing your brand’s CSR is being protected by a sustainable, ethical programme.
We know that it’s often difficult to put returned stock back into the supply chain. That’s why we work with retailers, couriers and online businesses to have returns sent directly to CTR as we’re able to handle the whole process.
Doing things differently
We work with our partners to encourage customers to return other items (that could be reused) at the same time. These can simply be items they don’t use any more and would otherwise look to give away.
It makes your customer’s life easier as one return can handle multiple items, and it saves them a trip to a charity shop or a clothes bank. It’s a strong sustainability message and you can incentivise your customers with a message that makes their life easier while stressing your own environmental credentials.
It makes sense for your bottom line too, because the higher the value of the goods returned, the greater the offset to the collection return costs.
We also offer in-store collection points for customers to bring returned items back. We currently offer this service throughout Europe as we are the partner for McArthurGlen. We have also trialled in-store collection for Dunelm before rolling it out across its 165 UK stores.
